This is the list of all spirits I have reviewed on this blog and the link to their blog posts.

Legend

My scoring system has evolved over the lifetime of the blog. Broadly speaking, I think in terms of the following categories:

❓	Inconclusive	No fair judgement can be made, for example because the sample has been tainted
❌	Bad	Poor overall quality, has significant flaws, or greatly underperforms for its category.
	Unfulfilling	Not without any merit, but given the many superior alternatives there’s little reason for an enthusiast to bother. This is what I expect of most commercialized single malts and blends, and single cask bottlings that did not work out too well.
	Rewarding	Rewards a focussed and mindful engagement. Shortcomings, if present, are either forgivable or rather a matter of preference. This is the level I expect of official single malts with a focus on quality over marketing, and of most single casks offerings from reputable independent bottlers. Spans the gamut from good to great to excellent, with different levels and combinations of deliciousness, complexity, uniqueness, flawlessness.
❤️	Personal favourite	This spirit really connects with me at an emotional level. The hunt for these special drams is what the hobby is all about.

In the index I only mark the extremes of ❌ and ❤️ since these have been consistently defined throughout the various more detailed grading schemes.

I also have a shorthand for some contextual factors:

🍷	Wine / sherry cask	Anything from sherry, to red/white wine, dessert wine, or similar, noted whenever there’s more than a very light influence
🔥	Peated	If more than a very light influence of peat smoke
💎	Ultra premium	If very rare, or very expensive (€250+), or very old (30yo+ for malt, 45yo+ for grain)
💀	Closed distillery	No longer active, mothballed, demolished
◾	Tasted blindly	Review written without foreknowledge of what the dram is
